COVINGTON — Ella Eberle, 86, of Covington, died at 3:45 a.m. Sunday in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill. Mrs. Eberle had been a resident of Covington since 1920 and a former resident of Danville and Homer, Ill. She was a member of Covington United Methodist Church, Win-Won Class of the church and Troy Chapter 145 Order of Eastern Star. Born Aug. 5, 1890, in Mill Creek Township, Fountain County, she was a daughter of Erasmus M. and Mary Catherin Tomlinson Cox. She married Roy A. Eberle on Dec. 19, 1911. He died May 10, 1962. Surviving are a sister, Ethel Cox of Akron, Ohio; and nieces and nephews, Ellsworth Cox of Rt. 2, Kingman; the Rev. Harold D. Cox of West Lebanon; Lillian Parent of Danville; Barbara Vorhees of Hillsboro; Robert Cox of South Bend; Helen Bowling of Ervington, Tex.; Frances Womacks of Des Moines, Iowa; Evelyn Harry of Northfield, Ohio; Dorothy Sterling of Gainsburg, Fla.; and two other nieces. Five brothers are deceased. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Furley officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.  --waw
